As you all know, the first (of hopefully many) Bill Murray Appreciation Day took place this past Saturday, February 2nd. About 30 fans dressed like several Murray characters and participated in a pub crawl in an attempt to woo Mr. Murray himself. Alas Bill didn't show, but it looks like everyone had fun if the following pictures are any indication.

Also, there's apparently there's a White House petition to make Bill Murray Appreciation Day an official holiday; sign it here!

And apparently at an after party, Bill was "dancing his face off" and "totally bouncing off the walls, doing kicks and everything". He even "single-handedly started a dance circle". I sure hope video of that surfaces!
